Information We Ask For

To give you the most accurate quote we can, we usually ask for:

About you (the person making the enquiry)

  • Your name
  • Your relationship to the person needing care (e.g. self, son/daughter, spouse, friend)
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number (optional but helpful)
  • Your preferred contact method (email or phone)

About the person needing care

  • Their age and current situation (at home, in hospital, in another nursing home, etc.)
  • The type of care you are interested in:
    • Long-stay care
    • Respite (short-term) care
    • Dementia care
    • Convalescence (post-hospital) care
    • End-of-life / palliative care
    • Not sure / please advise
  • A brief summary of their care needs (for example, mobility, memory, personal care support, any risks or special requirements)

Timing and stay details

  • When you would ideally like the care to start (e.g. as soon as possible, within the next few weeks, within 1–3 months)
  • For respite or convalescence: the approximate length of stay you have in mind

Room and preferences

  • Room preference (single room, shared room, or no preference)
  • Any particular preferences or important information you’d like us to know (for example, religious or cultural needs, hobbies, routines, or communication needs)

Funding

  • How you expect the care to be funded, for example:
    • Privately
    • Under a state scheme (e.g. Fair Deal or similar)
