  1. The provision of residential, respite, dementia, convalescence and end-of-life care services by H0uses Clondalkin Nursing Home (“we”, “us”, “our”), and
  2. Your use of our website www.h0uses.shop (“the Website”).

By:

  • Entering into a contract for care with us; and/or
  • Accessing or using our Website,

you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the Website or enter into a service agreement.


2. Who We Are

H0uses Clondalkin Nursing Home is part of an Irish company managing 11 nursing homes in Ireland since 1993.

3. Care Services and Service Agreements

3.1 Types of Care
We provide:

  • Long-stay residential care
  • Respite (short-term) care
  • Dementia care
  • Convalescence care

3.2 Individual Service Agreement
Admission to our nursing home and the provision of care services are governed by an individual Service Agreement or Contract of Care (“Care Agreement”) between us and:

  • The resident, and/or
  • A legal representative, attorney, or next-of-kin where appropriate.

The Care Agreement sets out:

  • The specific services to be provided
  • Fees and payment terms
  • Rights and responsibilities of both parties
  • Termination and notice provisions

If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Care Agreement, the Care Agreement takes precedence for the provision of care.

3.3 Assessment and Admission
Admission is subject to:

  • A clinical and care needs assessment
  • Availability of appropriate accommodation and services
  • Agreement on funding and payment arrangements

We reserve the right to decline an admission where we reasonably believe we cannot safely or appropriately meet the person’s needs.

  • Guidance from relevant Irish regulatory bodies and health authorities
  • Our internal policies and professional standards

4. Fees, Charges and Payment

4.1 Fees
Fees for care will be set out in the Care Agreement and may depend on:

  • Room type and facilities
  • Level of nursing and personal care required

4.2 Payment Terms
Payment terms, billing frequency, and any deposit or advance payments will be detailed in the Care Agreement. You agree to pay all fees when due.

4.3 Changes to Fees
We may review and adjust our fees from time to time. Where fees change, we will give reasonable notice in line with the Care Agreement and applicable regulations.

4.4 Funding Schemes
Where state or other funding schemes apply (e.g. Fair Deal or other arrangements), it is the responsibility of the resident and/or their representative to:

  • Apply for such schemes, and
  • Comply with any conditions imposed by the funding body.

We cannot guarantee eligibility or approval of any funding application.


5. Resident Rights and Responsibilities

5.1 Resident Rights
Residents have the right to:

  • Be treated with dignity, respect and compassion
  • Receive care appropriate to their needs
  • Be involved in decisions about their care, as far as possible
  • Have their privacy, confidentiality and personal data respected
  • Raise concerns or complaints without fear of negative consequences

5.2 Resident Responsibilities
Residents and/or their representatives are expected to:

  • Provide accurate and timely information about health, medical history and personal needs
  • Respect staff, other residents, and visitors
  • Comply with reasonable policies on safety, behaviour, infection control, visiting and security
  • Inform us of any changes in circumstances that may affect care or funding

6. House Rules and Policies

We operate a number of policies to protect the safety and wellbeing of residents, staff and visitors, such as:

  • Visiting arrangements and sign-in procedures
  • Infection prevention and control measures
  • Safeguarding and whistleblowing policies
  • Smoking and alcohol policies
  • Use of personal electrical equipment
